Hockey at Cranleigh Hockey Club
Hockey is always in full swing at Cranleigh Hockey Club, with regular league matches, weekly training sessions, and a friendly, sociable atmosphere on and off the pitch. We’re proud of the welcoming community we’ve built and the energy our players bring each week.
Social Post-match Teas and Bar
After each match, the teams return to nearby Cranleigh cricket club for teas, and a bar that is open for a drink with your teammates.
End-of-Season Celebrations
At the end of each season, the teams, umpires and supporters gather for a barbecue and drinks to celebrate the successes of the season, hand out some awards, and enjoy each other’s company one more time before taking a little break for the summer.
New Players Always Welcome
We’re always looking to welcome new players who want to enjoy hockey in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether you’re interested in competitive league matches or simply want a fun way to stay active mid‑week, there’s a place for you here.
Umpires Welcome Too
Umpires are an important part of our club community, and we’re always happy to hear from anyone who’d like to support our fixtures throughout the season. The club is highly appreciative of umpires and will be willing to support training and qualifications. Whether you are an ex-player or would simply like to take an interest in hockey and learn how to umpire, and be part of a great sporting community, we will welcome and support you.
